Accessibility Statement

Terrier Fitness is committed to ensuring that our website, www.terrierfitness.com (the "Site"), is accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities. We believe that fitness, community, and adventure should be open to all, and we strive to make our online experience reflect that value.

1. Our Commitment

We are working to ensure that the Site is designed, developed, and maintained in accordance with widely recognized accessibility standards, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, where reasonably practicable. This includes efforts related to:

  • Providing text alternatives for non-text content, such as images and icons.

  • Ensuring the Site can be navigated using a keyboard.

  • Using sufficient color contrast for text and visual elements.

  • Structuring content with clear headings, labels, and navigation to support screen readers and other assistive technologies.

  • Providing captions or transcripts for video content where feasible.

2. Platform and Third-Party Tools

The Site is built and hosted on the Wix platform, which provides built-in accessibility features and tools (such as Wix's accessibility wizard) that help support compliance with accessibility standards. We also rely on third-party services for features such as booking, scheduling, payments, and our online Shop. While we select providers that aim to support accessibility, we cannot guarantee that every third-party tool or embedded feature is fully accessible, and we encourage you to contact us if you encounter difficulties with any part of the Site.

3. Livestream Classes and Video Content

We recognize that our livestream classes, on-demand videos, and program materials are a central part of the Terrier Fitness experience. We are working toward improving accessibility of this content, including:

  • Providing clear verbal instruction during livestream sessions so participants can follow along without relying solely on visual cues.

  • Exploring options for captions or written summaries for recorded on-demand content where possible.

If you require an accommodation to participate in a livestream class, on-demand program, in-person session, or travel adventure, please contact us in advance so we can discuss how we may be able to assist.

4. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the Site may not yet be fully accessible. This may include certain embedded third-party content (such as booking widgets, payment forms, or video players), older pages or media, or features that have not yet been fully reviewed for accessibility. We are committed to addressing these limitations over time and prioritizing fixes as they are identified.

5. Feedback and Contact Information

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the Site and our Services. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, have suggestions for improvement, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us:

Terrier Fitness Email: terrierfit@gmail.com Website: www.terrierfitness.com/contact

When contacting us, please let us know:

  • The page or feature you were trying to access.

  • The nature of the issue or barrier you encountered.

  • The assistive technology or browser/device you were using, if applicable.

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5-7 business days and to work with you to provide the information, service, or access you need through an alternative method if necessary.

6. Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. As we update the Site, add new programs, or introduce new features (such as new travel adventures or on-demand content), we will review these additions with accessibility in mind and make improvements as we become aware of issues or as standards evolve.

7. Changes to This Statement

We may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Site, or applicable standards. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
